Whole Foods expands to Upstate NY

Albany, N.Y. -- High-end grocery store chain Whole Foods has announced it is expanding its chain to Upstate New York.

A store will be opening in the Albany areaJune 18, and a store in the Buffalo area is planned within the next three years.

A Whole Foods spokesperson told 13WHAM News there is an incredible opportunity for growth in the state, and Rochester is under consideration for future expansion.
