Bills' Dareus arrested again

Hamburg, N.Y. -- Buffalo Bills defensive lineman Marcell Dareus was arrested for the second time in less than a month Friday.

The Buffalo News reported Monday the Pro Bowl defensive lineman was involved in an accident Friday afternoon in Hamburg.

Police charged him with three misdemeanor and four vehicle and traffic charges for allegedly drag racing on Milestrip Road near McKinley Parkway, just miles from the Bills facility in Orchard Park after the final practice of the teams three-day minicamp.

Hamburg Police Lt. Bob Krone said the accident was still under investigation. He didn't provide any other details.

Dareus, 24, was already facing charges in his home state of Alabama, where he was arrested May 5 for possession of synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Dareus was selected third overall in the 2011 draft and is entering his fourth season with the Bills. He was benched toward the end of last season for showing up late to team meetings.
