PHOTO: Tree falls on moving car

Rochester, N.Y. - A family is thankful they walked away with no injuries after a large tree limb fell on their car.

Shortly before 3 p.m., a tree limb fell on a car driving southbound down Glide Street.

The driver and the passenger were not injured.

Police said a strong gust of wind caused the limb to snap and fall.

We spoke with the driver's niece, Skyler Martinez, and she told us:

"My mother and aunt were driving after work on this beautiful summer day, when a tree falls on top of my aunt's truck causing a thick branch to break through her windshield.

Now if my aunt didn't swerve left when she did, she could possibly be dead right now.

Thankfully, her and my mother walked away with no injuries."
