Tension eases after Henrietta’s obscene bus is moved

Henrietta, N.Y. - Tempers and tension seem to be easing after a Henrietta man painted an obscene message on a school bus criticizing the town.

The man was asked to clean up his front lawn and he responded by turning an old school bus into a billboard that upset neighbors.

According to Jack Moore, Henrietta town supervisor, the property owner's son started cleaning the yard up. The bus has been moved and the message painted over.

Moore said he received an email from the man who painted the message on the bus. They're on a much better path now.

"We're still scheduled to go in and clean the facility up and maintain the home because the home is in disrepair also. I was by this morning at 6:30, the vehicles have been removed and the bus doesn't have the obscene saying on it." said Moore.

Although progress has been made, there will still be a contractor at the home on Friday because of what Moore says are some problems remaining with the home.
