Hoping you can plug a blurb into your fine sports program about Mike Lauterborn's American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association National event this Sunday August 5th.
There is still an outside possibility that race cars will return to the old Freedom Raceway [now SAS] as early as next year. [+ motorcycle racing on separate nights] Doing my best in supporting Mike to make just that happen! :^)

American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association Flat Track National event coming to Mike Lauterborn’s South Arcade Speedway on Sunday, August 5th!
The AHRMA event will feature riders from literally across the US battling handlebar to handlebar on Vintage motorcycles like this late 1960’s Triumph motorcycle of ageless veteran Melvin Brown’s. This will be gearhead heaven with the pits full of AHMRA’s 9+ class eligible machines like the Dinosaur Class for 1951 and earlier500cc OHV and 750cc sidevalve motorcycles and the Seventies Two_Stroke Class featuring 1981 and earlier air_cooled
two_strokes up to 250cc machines ALL competing on the same day as the SAS regular / Modern day 10+ class machines.
Back to the future with good old American horsepower Vs. British horsepower Vs. Japanese horsepower Vs. Spanish horsepower flat trackin’ style on the banked ¼ mile oval @ South Arcade Speedway! http://www.southarcadespeedway.com/ or http://dev.ahrma.org/ for details.
Thanks Larry!
'Cuz in the wind...
