Learn about and taste the wines of Lombardia, Valle D’Agosta, Liguria and Piedmonte. Chef Cass has prepared a special menu of cuisine typical of this Italian region!
First Course: Zuppa del Contadino (Peasant Soup) is made with fresh tomatoes, garlic and parsley in chicken broth with mini ziti served with crusty, toasted bread.
Second Course: Pollo Alla Cacciatora (Hunter-style chicken) is made with chicken, onions, tomatoes and wine and will be served with zucchini “cake” and a crispy rice garnish.
Dessert: Zabaglione is a traditional warm egg custard made with Marsala wine and served with a sweet crème sauce. The zabaglione will be served over homemade Italian cookies and fresh fruit.
