Support Park Ridge Auxiliary's Lights of Love

The Park Ridge Auxiliary is now accepting donations for its annual Lights of Love campaign. This campaign and its lighting ceremony have raised funds for Unity Health System since 1988.

Lights of Love allows people to honor or memorialize a loved one with the purchase of a light, for a donation of $8. The lights are then strung on trees at the Unity Park Ridge and Unity St. Mary’s Campus. The names of all those honored are listed in a special book, which is available for viewing throughout the year.

Each year Lights of Love celebrates those being honored with a special lighting ceremony. This year’s lighting will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 7 p.m. in the Education Center at Unity Hospital, 1555 Long Pond Road.  

To purchase a Light of Love, call 723-7102, or visit www.unityhealth.org, click on About Unity, then Park Ridge Auxiliary, to download a form.
How to Submit an Event

1) Click on Add New Event.

2) You will be asked to register on the website, or if you have already registered, you must enter your password. You will then be directed to the New Event Form.

3) Enter a Title and Description (in the Story Content box) for your event, including times, location, ticket cost, and contact information (name, phone number, e-mail address, etc.) where applicable.

4) To select a date for your event, simply find and click on the event date on the calendars, and click Add Event Date.  For multiple event dates, just repeat this step.  Please note there is a 10 date limit to all events.  To add an event with more than 10 dates, simply add a new event with the same title and description.

5) Click the Publish Story button to submit your event. Note: After submitting your event, the submission needs to be approved by 13WHAM before appearing live on the website.
