On Saturday, June 30, 2012, Country Way Garden & Design Center, will be celebrating their 1st anniversary under the ownership of Laurie Broccolo and family. Along with live music, food vendors, and beer making demonstrations, the Broccolo family will also be supporting The Finger Lakes Museum by donating back 10% of all sales.
Laurie Broccolo and several of the Broccolo staff are graduates’ of Finger Lakes Community College (FLCC) – an educational partner with The Finger Lakes Museum. Broccolo states, “We have a special love of the area environment and are excited about what the Museum plans to accomplish”.
Over 90% of the perennials found at Country Way are home grown at their farm in Penfield. Specializing in native plants, hundreds of varieties are available from common to new and collectable varieties. Grown and sold in a sustainable and earth-friendly way, Country Way has been “growing green” since the start in 2001.
A Museum representative will be available at Saturday’s celebration to answer questions, discuss upcoming programs and show the Museum’s phase one design plans. Clip and present this at checkout to ensure the Museum receives 10% back. Feel free to spread the word to your family and friends and encourage them to shop on June 30th from 8am - 6pm.
