Featuring Rusted Root, known for their unique fusion of acoustic, rock, world and other styles of music, with a strong percussion section that draws from African, Latin American, Native American, and Indian influences.

The Party in the Park concert series brings thousands of music fans to downtown Rochester each summer for a night of world class entertainment in an outdoor setting. 
•All concerts are held Thursday evenings, June 7 through August 9, from 5 to 10 p.m. 
•All concerts take place at the Riverside Festival Site, at the corner of Exchange Blvd and Court St.

Ticket Information

Tickets go on sale May 10. There are two ticketing options available:
•Individual admission at the door is $2 per concert.  Regular admission tickets can be purchased at the concerts.
•A "10-week Party Pass" is $15 (a $5 savings!) and allows the pass holder a streamlined entry to the concerts.  Party Passes can be purchased ahead of time at the Blue Cross Arena, House of Guitars, Record Archive and The Bop Shop.
•Children under 12 are free.

Tickets can also be purchased on www.ticketmaster.com or 800-745-3000 with associated service charges. Tickets are non-refundable and non-replaceable.

Where to Park, What to Bring, and What to Eat!

•Parking available on-street and at nearby parking garages, including the Court St. Garage at the corner of South Ave. and Court St. and at the Sister Cities Garage, 28 S. Fitzhugh St. for a $4 special events fee. 
•Concert-goers may NOT bring food or beverages (with the exception of one sealed bottle of water) into the concerts.
•A wide selection of food is offered at Party in the Park including hot dogs, burgers, veggie burgers, steak sandwiches, pulled pork, pizza, BBQ cornish game hens, and curly fries.
•For the comfort and safety of everyone, patrons are asked to leave their skateboards, in-line skates and pets at home.   
•The City maintains a "No Chairs" policy for the safety of patrons.  Bleachers are provided. 
•No cameras or recording devices.
•Party in the Park is sponsored by the City of Rochester with corporate support from City Newspaper, Heineken, Dos Equis, New Castle, 95.1 The Brew, 100.5 The Drive, AT&T, Hank Parker's Party & Tent Rental, Continental School of Beauty, Ricoh and Mancuso Limousine.

How to Submit an Event

1) Click on Add New Event.

2) You will be asked to register on the website, or if you have already registered, you must enter your password. You will then be directed to the New Event Form.

3) Enter a Title and Description (in the Story Content box) for your event, including times, location, ticket cost, and contact information (name, phone number, e-mail address, etc.) where applicable.

4) To select a date for your event, simply find and click on the event date on the calendars, and click Add Event Date.  For multiple event dates, just repeat this step.  Please note there is a 10 date limit to all events.  To add an event with more than 10 dates, simply add a new event with the same title and description.

5) Click the Publish Story button to submit your event. Note: After submitting your event, the submission needs to be approved by 13WHAM before appearing live on the website.
