8K Perth,Ontario World Record Kilt Run/ Local couple run and finish!

Good morning,

My husband Mark and I ran in the Perth's World Record Kilt Run in Perth,Ontario on June 23, 2012. There is a competition between Perth UK and Perth Ontario and this year the runners in Canada won. I am originally from the UK and my some of my family live in Perth,Ontario so we decided we would run and help get our names into the record books. With 1755 runners we made the record. What an amazing site to see so many people in kilts running. My husband is 54 and I am 47 and we finished the 8K in 56 minutes(roughly 11 min mile) not the best but we have only been running for a few years.

How to Send Photos or Videos

1) Click the Send Your Picture button in the middle of this page.

2) You will be asked to register on the website to be eligible for the contest, or if you have already registered, you must enter your password. You will then be directed to the File Upload screen.

3) For photos, give the picture a title and description, then click the Browse button to find your file. Then click Upload to load your file. When you're finished, click the Publish Story button.

4) For videos, give your video a title and add a description, then click Upload Video. To upload your file, click the Select File button. The following video file formats are accepted: .wmv, .mpv, .mov, .mpeg, .mpg, .avi, .asf. Maximum file size: 100MB. Then check the (required) Terms of Use box. Click the Upload File button to begin the file upload.

5) After your photo or video has been sent, the submission needs to be approved by 13WHAM before appearing live on the website.
